A pair of mid-century turquoise ceramic table lamps with wood bases by Marcello Fantoni. Design slyly references its Italian roots with a calzone-like body and finger-pinched edge. Multi-layered glaze has a very vibrant turquoise ground washed in spidery darker rivulets. On warm-toned solid wood base. Brass stem is custom cut to fit flush with the irregular contours of the body. Original textured weave fabric shade. Newer socket, fittings, and wiring. Signed on underside of body. 33 in.Hx6 in.Wx6 in.D. Bodies and stems are in excellent condition; One base is in great condition, while the other has some areas of dark staining around its bottom edge.
