An early 1930s Streamline Moderne chaise lounge or daybed by Kem Weber for Lloyd Manufacturing Co. A sleek yet comfortable piece displaying the horizontal lines and curving forms that exemplify the late Art Deco period Streamline Moderne style. On polished tubular steel hairpin legs. Vintage black wool upholstery in great condition, with piped seams, a taut fit, and minimal signs of fading or wear. Would look equally at home in an Art Deco, Mid-Century Modern, or contemporary interior. H 21 in. x W 74 in. x D 27 in., seat height 17in. Some small superficial marks and slightly duller spots on legs, likely correctible with polishing. A few barely perceptible lighter areas on upholstery, more noticeable in photos than in person. Minor tear to dust cover, not visible when in use.
